Wanting to be someone else is a waste of the person you are.

Isn’t is hard enough to be yourself without trying to be someone else? And Kurt Cobain was right – what a waste. You are probably a great person and when you are trying to be someone else you are not able to be you!
And you are probably not that good at being someone else cause it’s just not natural.
Again, you are not that good at being someone else so you aren’t being good at being you cause you aren’t being you so, helllllo, everything is all messed up!
So the moral of the story? Just be yourself. It is the only choice that makes sense.

That is so true. That’s a powerful statement. It’s worth thinking about. What do you project? When a person emits confidence, confidence spreads, infects people, people listen.
I was taught in sales – it is rather than I think it is. You spread whatever you project. 
If you project lack of confidence, you spread doubt and uncertainty. Negative spreads faster than positive. People say they want positive but they would rather discuss negative. Evidently, it’s the shock value?
Do you want to make positive contagious? Try it today. Smile at someone. Compliment someone, appreciate someone. Spread some confidence today. It can and will be contagious.
It is worth remembering: we touch people, who touch people, who touch people. What part of the world are you in today?

“Monday Motivation”
Monday Motivation 
will launch this week on BloggerNewbie starting Monday, September 15th. I will be picking a quote from the prior week’s “quote of the day” that is displayed at the bottom of every page and open up discussions of the different philosophies behind it. Quotes motivate me.
I like to ponder the words and the meanings and see how they can be applied to my life. There is so much wisdom in many of the words spoken so long ago. I often think of the quote throughout the week and remind myself of the inspiration it brings.
I look forward to your input and discussions. I am sure there will be many interpretations and it will be interesting to see the different spins. So come and join us on Mondays, get your motivation for the week!
