I have been writing only a couple of times a week lately. So much to do, so little time!

I write at least once a week. Sometime I will write twice a week, when something great comes up.

I make comments on other blogs using the most relevent blog that matches. For instance, if a blog is talking about posting frequency that is applicable to my Blogmaster General site. My other sites are less about blogging and more about other online opportunities so other blogs that cover those topics get comments using the applicable blog. I have a handle for each blog so I don't get confused. Of course anyone who is interested can click on the about us and make their way to my general topic blog where I lay out all my info and what the handles are for each. Having a different handle for each allows me to answer questions, respond to emails etc. quickly and instantly know which site the question/comment is in regard to.

I don't blog full time. I am a researcher as a real job, but hope to someday blog full time. I spent the last 6 - 8 months reading other blogs and setting up a couple for friends and family and decided to give it a go.

Ben´s last blog post..Subject Matter

Ben:

You must have a primary blog that you focus on or do you comment on other blogs with the relevant blog information that matches? Do you blog full time?

5 total. Each has a slightly different topic but at some point each touches the subject matter of the others so there is cross-promotion possibilities.

4 are kind of How-to type, and the 5th is just general. So far I am using the 5th as a "what I did on this blog". But the further I get into it, the more it will expand; such as covering all the good posts I see on other peoples blogs all week, as well as new motivational, positive thinking type stuff.

I considered just starting one, but I wanted to learn a couple other things and figured I would just start a blog for those as well that way readers could see what not to do or what to do through the eyes of someone who is just beginning as well (very different than the eyes of someone who is an expert already). Also, since it takes time to develop readership and content I figured better sooner than later on starting the others.

I have been devoting between 1 - 2 hours each morning doing the blog for that day. This includes writing the post, reading other blogs and commenting if the subject matter is applicable to the blog I am writing that day, etc.
