Carla:

True, it's easy to flip through photos or brief posts, but yeah, any that I want to read and comment takes time and when I do things I like to be able to give an honest effort or not do it at all. Thanks for your opinion.

I prefer less too. I have probably 60 blogs I subscribe to and it’s hard enough to keep up with them. So far, I have about 500 unread posts in my reader!

Thankfully, a lot of the blogs are fashion blogs so a blogger may post 5-10(!) posts a day, but they are mostly photos, sale announcements, etc - not something that takes more than a few seconds to find out if I'm interested or not. Commenting is rarely necessary unless it’s a contest.

Anything that I have to put some thought into reading and commenting, I prefer less.

Natural:

It is hard to keep up and as a result posts do get lost in the shuffle. I read too many favorite blogs so I don't like miss anything. At the same time, it doesn't leave you a whole lot of time to write your own or even be social!

personally i prefer reading blogs that DO NOT post everyday. they don't give people a chance to catch up before they have moved on their next post. it takes me a while to make the rounds to the blogs i like to read, but if you post everyday, i won't be able to keep up. i think you can lose readers, depending on who you are, that way. i only read ONE BLOG every day that i CANNOT give up.

Natural´s last blog post..You Know It’s Time To Give Up Blogging When….

George:

You always make me laugh! I have all I can do to take care of ONE blog and with that my family wants to arrange the intervention.

Writing, as you know all too well, takes enough time to reach perfection (ok)

For myself, I have decided I want to put more value into my posts and more time in promoting it.

It's great to be motivated and also wise to ride the momentum. Personally, I am glad you are increasing your frequency! Keep up the good work!
