“Monday Motivation!”
Success is simple. Do what’s right, the right way, at the right time.
- Arnold H. Glasow
Okay, now we know the fundamentals to achieve success. No more questions, the answer is unmistakable. No objection here.
The primary focus now would be to figure out – what is right.
I would say what feels right is right. Listen to your inside voice. If it feels like hard work, then it is probably not right. If you are happy and it feels effortless, then you are on the right path.
Well we accomplished the what, now we need to figure out the how – the right way.
The right way will show itself. You will find the way. If it presents itself as too difficult then it is not the right way. you will just know.
We know the what and the how all we have to do is execute our plan at just the right time.
The time is right when you are ready and not one minute before. If you are pressured to execute your plan too soon or you are hesitant, then it not the right time. If you are not confident that it is the right time then you will be apprehensive and it will show.
Success is simple. If you feel it, you have it. Success is distinct to each individual. Success means different things to different people. What does success mean to you?

Great advice! I guess the only thing I would add to this is “consistently”. So, do what’s right, the right way, at the right time, consistently. I think some people miss that last part, and that keeps them from attaining that next level of success. Most really successful people do the right things, the right way, at the right time, all the time.
Great post, thanks for the Monday motivation!

But is success meant for everyone, there has to be those that are failures to which success is measured against.

Debo Hobo,
What about a person’s own failures? I prefer to measure my own success with my own failures as it is all relative. I may think I’m successful while someone else does not simply because they want more? I would just like to think that everyone can be successful.
Matt,
I think people who are successful develop a routine and expectation of succeeding. That is a great point.
I agree Dee – It’s all success is relative. My idea of success is going to be different than my peer’s definition. Set goals for yourself and take it one step at a time. As long as you continually make progress toward that goal, you’ll be successful. Don’t forget to take the set-backs in stride as well; they’re bound to happen.
Rachel,
You know what they say about set-backs or failures, it’s just one way that didn’t work. If it doesn’t work it just makes me more determined, especially if someone tells me I can’t do it.
