Well you start by cherishing your readers. They are important, they are one of the most important reasons you blog!
You create your blog and you feverishly write great content. You spend countless hours on the countless social media sites. Finally, all of your hard work is paying off. People are starting to come to your blog.
Your efforts don’t stop there. You need to give people a reason to stay.
How do you retain readers after you manage to get them to your blog? Aside from the holy grail of great content, community is the next focus.
How do you generate community?

- > Show and express genuine interest
- > Cherish your readers
How do you generate comments?
- > Start a conversation
- > Ask your reader to comment
- > Ask their opinion
- > Ask for help
Why do your readers want to come back?
- > Give them a reason to come back tomorrow.
- > Create a series
- > Mention the topic of tomorrow’s post
- > Create a teaser they can’t resist
- > Ask them to come back tomorrow
