“Blogger Burnout”
Do you have Blogger Burnout? You’ve been blogging for months and you barely get any visitors. The few visitors you do get, don’t bother to leave a comment. What are you doing wrong? You are working so hard, why are things not coming together? Do you feel like you are talking to yourself? Blogger Burnout is discouraging.
How do you recognize Blogger Burnout?
Are you easily distracted when you are trying to compose or finish a post?
Do you find other important tasks to do instead of writing?
Is it hard for you to convince yourself to start or finish a post?
Does just the mention of blogging causes you to feel irritable or anxious?
If you answered yest to any of the above questions you might be suffering from Blogger Burnout!
What do you do to get out of this burnout phase?
“Don’t Panic!”
Don’t get discouraged and feel like you want to quit.
Your are putting too much pressure on yourself. If you feel you need to post everyday, revisit your posting schedule. Maybe everyday is too much for you and your time right now.
Revisit your niche? Maybe it is too difficult to come up with topics in the niche you picked. Writing should flow naturally. It shouldn’t always feel like work. On occasion maybe but if it always feels like work you need to rethink your niche topic.
“Take a break!”
Get some perspective, and see if that helps. Try to determine the source of your stress, and change it–transfer your stress. It is often much more productive to outsource something then to spend too much time and frustration on a task. It may just well be worth the money! Sanity? Money? You choose.
“RELAX – ENJOY”
Avoiding burnout usually comes down to recognizing the source. What part of blogging do you have the most difficulty with? There is a great discussion going on over at (Anti) Social Development – What is your least favorite part of blogging?
Don’t compare your blog to others. Especially blogs that have been around awhile. One of the first things to realize about blogging – it all takes time. It takes time to build up content, readers, rank, etc. Remember the reason you started blogging. Review the 5 P’s of a Successful Blogger! Renew your passion! You had it to start with, you still have it!
What do you do to revitalize your blogging? How do you bring back the passion?

Creative Titles Are Crucial

“Creative Titles Are Crucial”
I was looking at my RSS reader today trying to decide which post to read. I have so many blogs on
the reader that I enjoy reading but I simply can’t set aside enough time to read them all every day.
I have tried to organize them into different categories – A-list blogs, peer blogs, blogs by topic, weekly blogs, etc. I don’t know if all readers are created equal or if they are set up the same. Read more

Is It Really Your Time?
October 29, 2008 by BloggerNewbie
“Is It Really Your Time?”
No matter who you are, your social status, how much money you make, where you came from, your gender or race, we are all allotted the same amount of time. 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week. That is a pretty good system – fair. We might not all have the same anything else but as far as time is concerned – it’s an equal deal! Time is gift and we all received the same exact gift. Read more

Shoot For The Moon

“Monday Motivation!”

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss,
you’ll land among the stars.”
Les Brown
There is a lot of truth to that quote. If you “shoot for the moon” and your plan is not 100% successful and “you land among the stars” wouldn’t you still accomplish a great deal of your goal?
