Wahoo! 100 Blog Posts! Where does the time go. Blogging makes me grin from ear to ear!
I am so happy with my blog and so very proud! I have many goals and aspirations for this journey. I have many mentors. Most of them don’t even know they are my mentor! The last few months have been a flurry of activity. Most bloggers know the detail that goes into the first few months of blogging.
Information overload! If I had to say one thing about my journey so far it would be that the amount of
information available to Blogger Newbies is overwhelming. There are too many choices to join the social media frenzy. Pick a few. You can’t join them all and use them effectively. From my experience, I would suggest following a couple of top bloggers and listen to their advice. There will be plenty of time to go off exploring and experimenting on your own after you are established.
Today also marks another 100 for my blogging career. Today I hit 100 followers on Twitter! Wahoo! I like coincidences like that. Makes me feel like it’s a good omen It’s a prediction for a great future and wonderful things to come. It encourages me to keep going.
Additional facts that are an indication of great success to come? I started my blog on June 1, 2008. That date may not mean the same thing to anyone else as it does to me. I had two different businesses prior to blogging. The first business I got involved in started on June 1, 1986! The second business I started on June 1, 1998! Hmmm, coincidence or prediction? OR definite “sign” of success!
My ultimate goal is to become a full time blogger. I would like to accomplish this goal within a year. I am putting together my business plan that will provide the success
I am seeking. The business plan is the key to your success. Without a business plan, you have no map to follow. You will be lost and just wander around aimlessly. I will be posting the Blogger’s Business Plan within the next few weeks. I am optimistic and I have all the confidence that I will accomplish my goals.
What are your goals for your blog? What do you do to confirm your intentions?

Thank you Debo, Danny and WebDesigner! I am very proud of my accomplishment and so excited! I will really make a splash when I publish 1000 posts!
Congrats girl!
This must be a great day for you and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.
I’m a long way from 100 posts…lol, but I’ve been blogging since the end of August 2008. Don’t plan to do it full time as I have lots of business on ground. It’s currently a great hobby of mine, and an avenue to help others.
Hope you have a great drink today!
Cheers!
Congratulations!
I just checked – I’m only up to 42! (nearly 43..
I’ve dropped a link to your site at the top of mine in celebration if that’s ok…
What a great landmark – hope you continue to be inspired for the next 100!
@ WD Favour
Thank you so much! I just love blogging, I like writing, yakking, helping people and if I make a few bucks that would be great too! Actually, what better way to make a living then doing something you absolutely love. Rare but possible!
@ Ross
Thank you for the link! That is awesome. My next goal is 100 readers! I’ll definitely post about that…
Congratulations on your two 100’s. You now have at least one more on Twitter. I have been blogging for fun now since May 2008. Just kind of wandering around blindly trying to learn a few things here and there. I applaud you for your goals, but most of all for the effort you put forth to achieve those goals.
Congrats! Feels good to make it this far right?
@ Eric
Thank you. I enjoy writing every word every day. Blogging certainly is time consuming so hopefully it is something enjoyable to everyone who does it!
Woo hoo! Congrats for the 100th blog entry here! Haha. I have 2 blogs and I’m like just getting started with the newer one.
Congrats. I only started my blog a few months before you, in March of 2008, but I recently stopped thinking of myself as a newbie. I still have sooooo much to learn though.
@ Natural
Thank you, yes, it feels great. Happened so fast, I can’t wait for the next 100!
@ Daniel
Thank you. One blog is enough for me right now!
@ Jennifer
Thank you. I do feel a little less like a Newbie. My blog will have to be FOR Newbies!
Congrats! Looking forward to the business plan.
@ Vintage Mommy
Thank you. I am so excited. I am thinking of doing an overall business plan for bloggers. The business of blogging! What do you think? Also thinking of putting it in pdf..
Good idea on putting the business plan in PDF. Then you can make it available for download to those how get your RSS. Great way to promote your blog.
@ Eric
Good idea! I’ll just have to figure out how to tie them together. I’ve seen it on many blogs so I’m sure I can figure it out!
Congratulations on the big 100!!! It’s certainly a milestone and one of many to come!
It can all definitely be ‘information overload’ when you’re first starting out but it seems to me you’re surrounding yourself with all the write bloggers and are making your way to achieving your goals. So here’s to a milestone thus far and hopes for continued success to come!
@ Ricardo
Thank you. Information overload is definitely one of the challenges in blogging. I guess one of the challenges of the internet. Eventually you need to stop, choose and move forward. You can always change your resources if they aren’t working.
