What Is Your Inner Dialogue?

How important is inner dialogue? I have been experimenting this last week or so with my own inner dialogue and I’m here to tell you – inner dialogue is everything! Inner dialogue causes you to be sad, to be mad, to be stressed – even to be happy! Inner dialogue causes you to be anything you WANT to be.

Yes – WANT to be. And changing your feelings can happen in an instant. It’s amazing. Your mind is a powerful thing.

I have been listening to The Secret by Rhonda Byrne and have been taking some of her advice and trying some of her techniques. “The Secret” has many different benefits, many different areas to focus on. Life, health, happiness, wealth, relationships, etc. The “Law of Attraction” is the main focus of the teachings.

The key is to focus on what you want or how you want to feel. You can’t just say – “I think I will be happy right now”. You have to think it and feel it. For me, I think of something that puts a smile on my face, some sort of humor. I also sing a verse of “I Feel Good” by James Brown. Now that should put a smile on your face. And if you know how I sing, that would even make you laugh out loud!

For me – the theory of the “Law of Attraction” makes sense for the most part. I am still trying to wrap my mind around a few of the teachings but I haven’t made any complete judgments yet. I am experimenting with a few “assignments”. So far, just the “feel good” attitude I have from The Secret is worth the price of the book. Click on the Amazon link on the right sidebar, use the drop down menu to search for the book and check it out!

I am excited to try a few things and will definitely report back on my journey with “The Secret”. Have you heard of “The Secret”? What do you think? Do you have any experiences by following The Secret?
